Known mIRC Issue: Enormous amounts of PONG messages in status window. The fix:

add on ^*:pong:haltdef to remote scripts (alt+r) - Please report if you recieved this issue before and that this fix works or not.

BNC Requirements:

Connect address: psy.opendiode.com
Connect Port: 31337 (not SSL)
Email Make this identical to your identd (in mIRC Options -> Connect -> identd
identd Make sure this is activated (it probably is)
Password Use a server password feature, or /quote pass <yourpassword>
BNC Partyline /join int~#partyline

All commands are executed in a query window to (/msg -psyBNC). For a full list of commands do /bhelp or /quote bhelp or /msg -psyBNC bhelp

Instructions on adding multiple servers:

  1. addnetwork <networkName> I suggest something small because you'll be using this a lot. Meaningful is good too.
  2. addserver <networkName>~<serverAddr>:<port> i.e. addserver msgplus~trendy.tx.us.msgplus.net:6667
  3. /join <networkName>~#<channel>
  4. Enjoy!

Enable logging:

Logging of private messages is enabled by default as long as you are not connected to the bouncer. You are usually notified when you have pending messages, but otherwise you can replay them using playtrafficlog .
  1. addlog [<network>~]#<channel>[/target(user)] :filter i.e addlog /addlog #banana :* logs everything coming from banana if you don't use networks
  2. View your logs using playtrafficlog in -psyBNC window or /quote
  3. Enjoy!
